02- Brakes#2016470
351 units affected
On certain trailers, the spring brake check valve may not have been manufactured correctly. This could result in a delay in the application of the spring brakes, which after decoupling from the tractor, could increase the risk of a trailer rollaway, potentially causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Affected valves will be corrected by way of a repair kit.
- Suspension#2015520
40 units affected
On certain trailers, the PRO-TORQ axle spindle nut keeper/retaining clips may not have been properly seated or may have been omitted. Disengagement or omission of the axle nut keeper/retaining clips could lead to excessive wheel end play and result in a loss of control, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Also, should a wheel separate from the vehicle, it could pose a danger to nearby motorists or bystanders, which could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the PRO-TORQ wheel end retainer clips, and repair as necessary.
