Issue: On certain buses equipped with a Ricon S-Series or K-Series titanium wheelchair lift, a lift sensor could fail. If this happens and the operator continues to press the "up" button, the platform could travel past the vehicle floor height. This could cause a lift occupant to be tipped inwards toward the vehicle. Safety Risk: If the lift tips inwards, the risk of injury would be increased. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a Ricon authorized dealer to perform repairs.
