    Issue: On certain vehicles, a nut in the steering gear assembly may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the nut could loosen and separate. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering gear assembly.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, the sidewall of the tire(s) may have been damaged during manufacturing. As a result, the sidewall could fail and cause a sudden loss of air pressure. Note: This recall only affects certain cutaway chassis vehicles equipped with General Grabber HTS LT225/75R16E or Bridgestone V-Steel RIB R265 LT245/75R16E tires. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the affected tire(s).

    Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the head restraint on the front passenger seat may not have been properly welded. As a result, the head restraint could move or detach from the seat in a crash. Safety Risk: A head restraint that moves or detaches in a crash could increase the risk of an injury. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front passenger seat frame.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, a beam inside the driver's door may not have been welded properly. As a result, side impact protection may be reduced in a crash. Safety Risk: Reduced side impact protection could increase the risk of injuries in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver's door.

  • STEERING#26V399000

    General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Express, and 2025-2026 Savana vehicles. The steering gear assembly may have a nut that was not properly tightened.

    Risk: A loose nut that separates from the steering gear assembly while driving can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gear assembly, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 20, 2026. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N262563570. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on June 23, 2026.

  • TIRES:SIDEWALL#26V127000

    General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Express Cutaway, and 2025-2026 Savana Cutaway vehicles. These vehicles may be equipped with a tire with sidewall damage.

    Risk: A tire with sidewall damage may experience sudden air loss or driver loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect all tire sidewalls and replace tires with sidewall damage, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N252542620.   • SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:HEAD RESTRAINT#25V299000

    General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vehicles. The front passenger seat head restraint may have been improperly welded to the seat frame.

    Risk: An improperly welded head restraint can result in an increased risk of injury to the seat occupant during a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the front passenger seat frame, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 23, 2025. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N252503580.

  • STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR#25V087000

    General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. The impact beam located in the driver's side door may have improper welds.

    Risk: An improperly welded door impact beam may not adequately protect occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver's side door, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 3, 2025. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 800-462-8782. GM's recall number for this recall is N242490780.
