    Issue: Under certain conditions, the left turbocharger oil feed pipe and hose assembly could become damaged. If this happens, oil could leak onto hot components. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 3.3 L turbo (T-GDI) engine. This recall replaces recall R0159 (Transport Canada recall number 2019-350). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: Oil that leaks onto hot components can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the left turbocharger oil feed pipe and hose assembly.

    Issue: Under certain conditions, water could leak into the starter solenoid. If this happens, the solenoid could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install an updated relay in the engine junction box. Hyundai recommends that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem in the control module for the antilock brake system (ABS) could cause it to short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuse for the ABS module. Hyundai recommends that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.

    This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2024-158. Issue: On certain vehicles with a 3.3 litre turbocharged engine, the connections for the turbocharger oil feeder pipes may leak. This could result in oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold, increasing the risk of a fire. Safety Risk: A fire could create the risk of injury Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the turbocharger oil feeder pipe.
