On certain Low Speed Vehicles (LSVs) built by Global Electric Motorcars (GEM), the parking brake ratcheting mechanism could fail. As a result, the operator would be unable to engage the parking brakes, which could allow unintended vehicle movement and cause a crash resulting in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized GEM dealers will replace the parking brake lever assembly.
