    Issue: Under certain conditions, the rear brake caliper mounting point could crack and break. This could cause reduced braking or a loss of rear brake function. Safety Risk: Reduced braking could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake caliper.

    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the front brake caliper may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the caliper could crack and cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace front brake caliper.

    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) box may have been programmed incorrectly. This could cause a sudden engine failure with an inability to restart. Safety Risk: An engine failure could increase the risk of a crash or injury. Corrective Actions: GASGAS will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the CDI box. To reduce the safety risk, GASGAS recommends that you should not use your motorcycle until the recall repairs have been completed.
