Issue: Certain retread tires may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the tread could separate and the tire could fail. Note: This recall only affects retread tires with identification codes RZ314325RS through RZ314925RS. This voluntary recall is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control. A tire tread that separates could create a hazard for others. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Fountain Tire will notify registered owners by email to advise you of this problem. You should contact Fountain Tire if you have tires with these identification codes or if you need help inspecting them. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced with an equivalent retread tire.
