Issue: On certain RV trailers, the base for the dinette table may not have been properly welded. As a result, the welds could break and cause the table to fall suddenly. Safety Risk: A table that falls suddenly could injure a person. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the dinette table.

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the roof-mounted antenna wing may not be secured properly. As a result, the antenna could detach from the trailer while driving. Safety Risk: An antenna that falls from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to repair or replace the roof-mounted antenna wing.

Issue: On certain travel trailers or motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the glass may not be properly attached to the metal hinges. As a result, the glass could separate from the hinge and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: A window that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest river will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer or motorhome to a dealer to inspect the adhesive bonding on the window glass. Dealers will replace the glass, if necessary.

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the furnace exhaust vent may be missing. Safety Risk: If the furnace is operated without an exhaust vent, it could allow carbon monoxide to enter the trailer. This could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. The furnace could also overheat and create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealer to inspect for a furnace exhaust vent. A vent will be installed if it is missing.
