    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the brackets that secure the propane tank could fail. As a result, the propane tank could become damaged and/or detach. If this happens, the tank could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Additionally, a propane tank that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the mounting brackets that secure the propane tank.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the nuts that attach the rear stabilizer bar bracket(s) could loosen and the attachment bolts and bracket could break. If this happens, the bolts and bracket could detach and separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Parts that detach from the motorhome could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

    Issue: On certain RV trailers and motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the adhesive that attaches the vented portion of the windows may fail. If this happens, the glass could separate and fall from the motorhome or trailer. Safety Risk: A window that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to an authorized dealer or service center to inspect and replace the vent window glass, as required.

  • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:TANK ASSEMBLY#24V103000

    Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Georgetown and FR3 Class A motorhomes. The liquid petroleum gas (LPG) tank mounting brackets may break, which can result in the LPG tank becoming dislodged and damaged.

    Risk: A damaged LPG tank increases the risk of a fire.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the brackets and welds as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1736.

    Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021 Forester 2401BSD, FR3 F3A32DSF, Georgetown GTA36K7, 2022-2023 East to West Entrada, 2023 East to West Alta, Coachmen Apex, Brookstone, Chaparral and Chaparral Lite, Forest River Crusader, Sanibel, Shasta Phoenix, Coachmen Spirit, and East to West Tandara vehicles. The solar panel mounting hardware may become loose and pull through the slot in the panel.

    Risk: Loose hardware can cause the solar panels to detach from the vehicle during transit, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will install additional hardware to the existing panel and install a secondary holding bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5, 2023.   • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER#21V523000

    Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Coachmen Cross Country, 2015 Coachmen Encore, 2016-2020 Coachmen Mirada, 2018-2021 Coachmen Sportscoach, 2019-2021 Forest River Berkshire, 2011-2016 Forest River Blue Ridge, 2014-2019 Forest River Cardinal, 2014-2020 Forest River Cedar Creek, 2014-2021 Forest River Georgetown, 2019 Forest River Legacy, and 2017-2018 Forest River Riverstone recreational vehicles equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.

    Risk: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1380.

  • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER#20V605000

    Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021 Coachmen Sportscoach and Forest River Georgetown motorhomes. The P2K Bunk Bed System motor may fail, causing the bunk to fall from the stowed position.

    Risk: If the motor fails, the bunk may fall while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

    Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the bunk motor, free of charge. The recall began November 6, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at Sportscoach 1-574-825-8212 or Georgetown 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1237.
