    915 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the front turn signal lamps don't meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: Turn signals that are difficult to see could cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Forest River will notify owners in writing. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  • Structure#2016154

    2 units affected

Certain motorhomes may not have been manufactured with an egress window on the rear wall of the vehicle. A lack of emergency exits could increase the risk of injury in emergency situations. Correction: Dealers will install an egress window at the rear wall of the vehicle.

  • EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL#24V913000

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2009-2017 Georgetown Class A motorhomes. The amber turn signal lens has an undersized reflective surface. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Inadequately reflective turn signals can make it difficult for other drivers to see when the vehicle intends to turn, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the turn signal, and bulb, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 11, 2025. Owners may call Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1875.

The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.

Risk: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1380.

Risk: Without a secondary egress window, occupants may be trapped in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury or death.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remove the vented window and install an egress window, free of charge. The recall began on May 10, 2016. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 15-03232016-0151.

Due to an incorrect shift cable bracket and an improper shift cable adjustment, the affected vehicles can be shifted out of 'PARK' without applying the brakes.

Risk: If the vehicle can be shifted into reverse without the brakes being applied, the vehicle may unintentionally move, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and Ford dealers will replace the transmission shift control bracket and adjust the transmission shift cable, free of charge.
