Issue: The trailer hitch coupler installed on certain travel trailers may not be strong enough to support the weight of the trailer. On certain vehicles, the valve fitting on low flow propane gas line to the refrigerator may have been adjusted improperly. This could create the potential for a propane leak, which in the presence of an ignition source could lead to a fire and/or an explosion, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will ensure the pressure tap nut is present and is tightened to proper specification.

  • Electrical#2017640

    209 units affected

On certain travel trailers, a 110v and 12v wire may get pinched between the chassis and the body of the vehicle. • Accessories#2017610

    61,287 units affected

On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain travel trailers, the generators exhaust pipe is mounted to close to the plastic underbelly. Correction: Dealers will lower the exhaust pipe away from the plastic underbelly.
