On certain travel trailers, a 110v and 12v wire may get pinched between the chassis and the body of the vehicle. This could result in a short circuit increasing the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will route the 110v and 12v wires away from any potential pinch point.

    61,287 units affected

On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain travel trailers, the generators exhaust pipe is mounted to close to the plastic underbelly. Correction: Dealers will lower the exhaust pipe away from the plastic underbelly.

  • Suspension#2016440

    34 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the tires could come into contact with the floor or wheel well when the suspension fully compresses. This could result in tire damage and could adversely affect vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and install a bolt-on lift kit which will add 4.5cm (1 ¾”) of vertical height clearance.
