Issue: On certain RV trailers, the wiring for the solar controller may not have been installed properly. As a result, the wiring may not have proper circuit protection. If this happens, the wiring could overheat and melt before the circuit breaker trips. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to use the solar power system until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to correct the wiring.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the side of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, reattach the receiver for the removable step.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Campsite Reserve travel trailers. The solar controller may be wired incorrectly without over current circuit protection.
Risk: Wiring without circuit protection may become damaged and short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will rewire the solar controller power wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 99-1926.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Catalina, Forest River Aurora, Cascade, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Sandpiper, Sierra, 2025 Campsite Reserve, Impression, Pause, Puma, Sabre, Salem, Vengeance, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
Risk: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025.
