Issue: On certain vehicles, the parking brake handle could be released without pushing the release button. As a result, the vehicle could move unexpectedly. Note: This recall only affects certain Super Duty incomplete vehicles. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, replace the parking brake handle.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
01- PARKING BRAKE#24V143000
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 F-650 and F-750 vehicles. The parking brake may malfunction and allow the lever to be released without pressing the release button.
Risk: A parking brake that is released unexpectedly may result in a vehicle roll away, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the parking brake handle assembly. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 17, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S09.
