Issue: Certain tires may have a defect that can cause the inner liner to crack and the belt edge to separate. If this happens, the tire could fail and suddenly lose air pressure. Note: This recall only affects certain tires with a date code of 1821. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Bridgestone will send a letter to registered owners to advise you of this problem and provide you with instructions for inspecting the tires. You should contact a Bridgestone or Firestone dealer if you have these tires or if you need help inspecting them. Tires that are affected by this recall will be replaced.
