01- Label#2022512
50 units affected
Issue: The compliance label on certain trailers lists the wrong gross axle weight ratings (GAWR). The label incorrectly lists the capacities as 11,350 kg (25,000 lb.) per axle. The label should instead list the axle capacities as 10,900 kg (24,000 lb.) per axle. This could lead to overloading and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with 11R22.5 tires. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Fanotech will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you would like help to install it, you can contact Fanotech to arrange to have it installed free of charge.
