Issue: On certain motorhomes and RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with certain Suburban cooktops. Safety Risk: Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome or RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, disable or remove the LED light rings.

(Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Ahara, Entrada, 2022-2025 FR3, Georgetown, 2021-2023 Dynamax Isata, 2021-2025 Encore, Mirada, Pursuit, 2025 Sportscoach, V-Cruise, V-Sport, V-Tour, 2023 Sunseeker, and 2024-2025 V-RV motorhomes, equipped with General Electric air conditioners with a soft start device with part number ICM870-16A-BH5400. The air conditioner soft start device may fail and overheat.
Risk: An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the soft start, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 1, 2025. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Forest River Cardinal, Wildcat, 2018-2019 Cedar Creek, 2021 Columbus, 2023 Continental Cargo, 2021-2024 Dynamax DX3, Dynamax Dynaquest XL, Dynamax Isata, Forest River IBEX, 2022-2024 Dynamax Europa, Forest River NOBO, 2022-2023 Forest River Sandstorm, Shockwave, Stealth, and 2021-2023 Dynamax Force trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
Risk: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by May 14, 2024. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Dynamax Isata motorhomes. The nut on the backside of the main 12V disconnect may have been improperly tightened.
Risk: A loose nut can cause electrical arcing or overheating, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the 12V disconnect, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 29, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-264-3474. Forest River's number for this recall is 55-1751.
