Issue: On certain motorhomes equipped with front swivel-seats, the wiring harness under the seat may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring harness could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the side airbag may not work properly in a crash. It could also cause the side airbag to deploy suddenly without a crash. Note: If the wiring to the side airbag is damaged, the SRS light will stay on in the instrument cluster. Safety Risk: An airbag that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to inspect the routing of the seat wiring harness. The dealer will add clips or cable ties to properly secure the wiring harness to the seat, if necessary.

This could happen while the motorhome is stopped or in motion. Safety Risk: If a slide-out room moves suddenly and without warning, it could create a risk of injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a dealer to install a new controller and switch for the slide-out mechanism.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Coachmen Chaparral and Shasta, 2019-2020 Coachmen Concord and Orion, 2020-2021 Coachmen Cross Trek and Forest River Berkshire, 2019-2021 Coachmen Freelander, Leprechaun and Prism, 2020 Coachmen Mirada, Pursuit and Sportscoach, Dynamax Force, DX3, Dynaquest XL and Isata and Forest River Wildwood and 2008 and 2020 Forest River Salem vehicles equipped with Dometic 3 burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.
Risk: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Dynamax Isata vehicles. Inadequate warmup protection can cause a lack of oil film on the engine connecting rod bearings while the engine is reaching operating temperature. This can result in engine damage and connecting rod failure, which could potentially puncture the engine block.
Risk: A damaged engine block may leak oil, which can contact hot engine or exhaust components, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and FCA dealers will reprogram the engine calibration software to enhance the engine warm up protection, free of charge. The recall began October 13, 2020. Forest River, Inc. (Forest) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Forest River Forester, Sunseeker, Dynamax Isata and Coachmen Galleria and Prism motorhomes built on Sprinter Van chassis equipped with swivel seats. The wiring harnesses for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly and could become jammed and damaged in the swivel seat frames.
Risk: If the wiring harness is damaged, the side air bag within the seat may deploy inadvertently or not deploy as designed in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and Sprinter dealers will inspect the wire harness routing for both front seats and will repair the wiring and add clips or cable ties as needed, free of charge. Forest River Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Coachmen Galleria, Dynamax Isata, and Forest River Battisti Coach, Forester, and Sunseeker motorhomes, built on 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The rear part of the front fender liner may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.
Risk: Loss of brake fluid can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz or Freightliner Sprinter dealers will inspect and replace the brake hoses, as necessary. Additionally, the fender liners will be modified. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Coachmen Galleria and PRISM, Forest River Forester, Battisti and Sunseeker and Dynamax Isata recreational vehicles built on Sprinter chassis with automatic transmission. The operator's manual does not correctly specify certain conditions under which the automatic parking function ("Auto-P") operates.
Risk: If the driver relies on the Auto-P function as described in the Operator's Manual, vehicle rollaway or movement may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz dealers will provide the correct description of the Auto-P function for the Operator's Manual, free of charge.
