01- Fuel System#2009190
152 units affected
Certain fifth wheel and travel trailers were equipped with a fuel shut-off switch which is not spark protected. This switch is mounted in the nozzle storage compartment of the fuel dispensing system. Gasoline spilled on the switch, or gasoline vapours which may build-up in the vicinity of the switch during dispensing functions, may create a risk of fire or explosion if a spark is generated by the switch. The resulting fire or explosion could cause serious burns and possibly death. Correction: Dealers will replace the existing fuel shut-off switch and install an ignition-protected switch.
