  • Accessories#2017627

    144,034 units affected

On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. • Electrical#2013024

    90 units affected

On certain travel trailers, an incorrect electrical connection at the transfer switch buss bar could cause the transfer switch to overheat and melt. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the transfer switch.

  • Fuel System#2009190

    152 units affected

Certain fifth wheel and travel trailers were equipped with a fuel shut-off switch which is not spark protected. This switch is mounted in the nozzle storage compartment of the fuel dispensing system. Gasoline spilled on the switch, or gasoline vapours which may build-up in the vicinity of the switch during dispensing functions, may create a risk of fire or explosion if a spark is generated by the switch. The resulting fire or explosion could cause serious burns and possibly death. Correction: Dealers will replace the existing fuel shut-off switch and install an ignition-protected switch.
