  • Tires#2016408

    142 units affected

Certain tires may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 139 — New Radial Ply Tires for Motor Vehicles With a GVWR of 4 536 kg or less. During endurance compliance testing, the tires did not meet the requirements of the low inflation pressure performance portion of the standard due to tread chunking. This could result in tire noise and/or ride vibration. If the tires are operated in this condition for an extended period of time it could lead to tire failure, which could increase the risk of loss of vehicle control and/or a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires with similar tires that conform to the standard.
