07
  • Brakes#2026062

    212 units affected

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a Ducati dealer during Transport Canada recall no. 2025-030 may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. On certain motorcycles, the rear brake hose could become damaged by heat. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-030. Motorcycles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the heat protector.

  • Brakes#2025030

    42 units affected

This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2026-062. Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear brake hose could become damaged by heat. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect the rear brake hose for heat damage and reposition the heat protector as necessary.

  • Fuel System#2019254

    209 units affected

Issue: A build-up of pressure inside the fuel tank could cause gasoline to spray out when opening the fuel cap. Note: This situation is more likely to happen in hot weather conditions. Safety Risk: A fuel spray could create the risk of injury or a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorcycle to a dealer to update the fuel tank venting system. A warning label will also be put on the fuel tank.

  • Powertrain#2018667

    167 units affected

On certain motorcycles, the timing chain tensioner could loosen and lead to oil potentially leaking from the bottom side of the tensioner adjustment bolt onto the rear tire. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will tighten both timing chain tensioners to specification.

  • Engine#2018658

    167 units affected

On certain motorcycles, an output port on the oil cooler may crack and cause an oil leak. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the oil cooler with an improved unit.

  • Fuel System#2018208

    91 units affected

On certain motorcycles, the fuel cap may not vent properly and fuel tank pressure could be increased. This could result in fuel to spray out of the tank while opening the fuel tank cap, which in the presence of an ignition source, could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will rework the currently installed fuel tank cap and improve the breathing capacity.

  • Fuel System#2018207

    91 units affected

On certain motorcycles, the O-ring of the fuel tank internal breathing system valve plug may have been damaged during installation. This could result in a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the plug and the O-ring with new components.
