Issue: On certain motorcycles, the connection between the negative battery cable and the battery terminal may be too tight. Over time, this could cause the battery terminal to break. If this happens, there would be sudden loss of power and the engine may stall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect and re-route the negative battery cable, as needed. Dealers will also ensure that the battery is properly secured.
