    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear brake pads could separate. This would cause reduced rear braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer who will inspect and replace the rear brake pads as necessary.

    Recall update: After the initial notification, Ducati determined that no vehicles with this defect were sold in Canada.<br><br> On certain motorcycles, the friction material on the rear brake pads could separate from the backing plates. This could result in reduced rear brake effectiveness, resulting in extended stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear brake pads as necessary.
