Issue: On certain ambulances, the step under the rear doors may not have been properly welded. As a result, the step could fail when it is used. Safety Risk: A step that fails could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Demers will notify owners by mail and provide a repair kit and instructions for reinforcing the rear step.
