02- Seats And Restraints#2025440
2,534 units affected
Issue: On certain child car seats, the label containing the date of manufacture doesn't list the day of manufacture and lists the information in English only. Canadian regulations require a specific format for the date and the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect safety. Corrective Action: This is not a recall. Owners can continue to use their seat. Cybex has made changes to correct all future labels.
- Label#2020655
1,200 units affected
Issue: There is no warning label on the seat to inform users that the anti-rebound bar should not be used in forward-facing or booster modes. There are also some small errors on the labels and in the instruction manual. Canadian regulations require companies to provide certain information with each child seat. Safety Risk: The small errors on the labels and in the instruction manual are unlikely to affect safety. Information for how to properly use the anti-rebound bar is included in the instruction manual. Corrective actions: This is not a recall. The company has made changes to correct all future labels and instruction manuals.
