Issue: On certain RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt. Note: This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops. Safety Risk: Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Cruiser RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Cruiser RV recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the fabric for the patio awning may not be properly attached. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the trailer could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Cruiser RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, a rubber cover was not installed on the 12-V mini-breaker for the slide-out. As a result, the electrical studs on the breaker are exposed and could contact nearby ducting. This could cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: A short circuit or electrical arcing could create the risk of a fire or injury. Corrective Actions: Cruiser RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, install the missing rubber cover on the 12-V mini-breaker.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the quick disconnect fittings for the propane (LP) gas system may be defective. As a result, the fittings could crack and leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Cruiser RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system. The quick disconnect fitting(s) will be replaced, if required. The dealer will also perform a leak test.

On certain travel trailers equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain travel trailers, the switched accessory LED light that is located on the front cap of the camper may have a fault that could cause it to short circuit. Should a short occur, the wiring could overheat and cause a fire, which could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the current light with a different light which has built in voltage protection.

On certain travel trailers, the Federal Certification label and the Tire and Loading Information label do not contain the correct Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The labels incorrectly indicate a GAWR of 2,135 kg (4,703 lb) instead of 1,082 kg (2,384 lb), and a GVWR of 3,421 kg (7,535 lb) instead of 1,564 kg (3,444 lb). As such, the vehicle could be unwittingly overloaded, which would result in poor vehicle handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.
