• Suspension#2022560

    10 units affected

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the U-bolts that attach the axle to the suspension may not be properly tightened. As a result, an axle could slide back on the spring. This could cause poor handling and lead to a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to tighten the axle spring U-bolts, as necessary.

  • Electrical#2020031

    116 units affected

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the wiring for the Wi-Fi switch may not have proper circuit protection. If a short circuit occurs, the wiring could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Keystone RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to remove the Wi-Fi switch and add a 7.5 amp fuse to the wiring. Keystone advises that the Wi-Fi switch should not be turned on until the recall repairs are completed.

  • Label#2018258

    6 units affected

On certain travel trailers, a rear window blocked by a ladder was mislabelled as an emergency exit. In an emergency situation, occupants may attempt exit through the blocked window, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions for the inspection and removal of the emergency exit sticker if the rear window is blocked by a ladder. Note: This does not affect the primary emergency exit located on the opposite side of the travel trailer's entrance door.

  • Accessories#2017627

    144,034 units affected

On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Note: For more information about recalled fire extinguishers, please visit www.kidde.com.

  • Accessories#2017396

    10 units affected

On certain fifth-wheel trailers, a propane manifold under the kitchen slide room can come into contact with the main floor and damage the propane line. If the propane manifold were to become damaged when the slide room is retracted and/or during travel, it could result in a propane leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will reposition the propane manifold on the slide room bar and remove a section of metal trim along the main floor line to provide additional clearance.

  • Other#2013283

    217 units affected

On certain fifth wheel trailers, the power awning switch (located in the cargo compartment) can inadvertently be activated by shifting cargo. As a result, the awning can unfurl unexpectedly, and could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a cover over the switch.
