  • Seats And Restraints#2021147

    66 units affected

Issue: On certain FleetMax Type III G3500 ambulances, the locking pin that secures the sliding attendant's seat on the passenger side of the patient compartment may not be strong enough. As a result, the pin could fail in a crash and allow the seat to move. Safety Risk: A seat that moves in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Crestline will notify owners by mail and provide materials and instructions for replacing the locking pin on the sliding seat. To reduce the safety risk, Crestline recommends that you should secure the sliding seat mechanism in place using the existing adjusting screws until the recall repairs have been completed.
