On certain vehicles equipped with a Magnum model MMS 1012 1000 watt inverter, the inverter could experience an overheating condition. This could cause a burning smell, smoke, heat damage or melting of the inverter, and potentially cause a fire. These issues could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and rewire the inverter as necessary. Note, on ambulances, the inverter is located in the exterior electrical compartment, on the driver’s side of the ambulance body.
