Safety Risk: An awning that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to add additional support to the housing for the retractable awning's gearbox motor.

Issue: On certain motorhomes, a fuel hose on the generator may not be properly secured and could leak fuel. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with an Onan QG 2800i generator. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel hose between the generator fuel filter and injection pump module. The fuel hose and clamps will be replaced, if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises that you should not use the generator until the recall inspection is completed.

Safety Risk: An awning that extends or closes on its own could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Spyder Controls Corporation (Firefly) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to an authorized service center to reprogram the Firefly multiplex electronic control module (ECM).

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2021-2023 Forest River Beyond, and 2021-2023 Coachmen Nova Class B motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
Risk: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install a wedge to support the internal components in the gearbox and replace the motor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2024. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, Sunseeker, and 2021-2024 Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
Risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Cummins Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2023. Risk: An awning that unintentionally extends or retracts increases the risk of injury.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Coachmen Nova motorhomes. The Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery was incorrectly installed inside the vehicle, which can allow hydrogen gas to enter the vehicle.
Risk: Hydrogen gas inside the vehicle can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will install a lithium battery, free of charge. Owners were notified of the defect on September 27, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2021.
