Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises not to use the air conditioner until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the soft start device for the air conditioner.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the nuts that attach the rear stabilizer bar bracket(s) could loosen and the attachment bolts and bracket could break. If this happens, the bolts and bracket could detach and separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Parts that detach from the motorhome could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  Issue: On certain RV trailers and motorhomes, the fabric for the patio awning may not be properly attached. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the vehicle. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the vehicle could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes equipped with a Dometic propane gas stove, there could be an odour of propane gas after a short period of use. If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. If you smell propane gas inside your motorhome, you should evacuate and turn off the gas supply immediately.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the fuel line from the fuel tank to the generator may have a splice connection that could leak fuel. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuel line. If a splice connection is found, the fuel line will be replaced.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly.   On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "PRND321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. With no gear indication, the operator may inadvertently select an incorrect gear, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.

  On certain travel trailers, one inch plug-in circuit breakers (single & double pole 15 - 50 amps) may have a non-confirming "spring clip" plug-in assembly that breaks or fails to provide sufficient force to maintain a proper electrical connection in the panel board. Over time, this condition could lead to excessive temperature, arcing, or thermal damage at the connection point, and potential damage to the electrical insulation of the panel board. This could lead to a fire, property damage, or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and remove all affected breakers from the distribution panel, and replace them with a new breaker(s).
