02- Seats And Restraints#2026120
1 units affected
Issue: One motorhome was incorrectly manufactured with eight seat belts, but only seven should have been installed. As a result, the cargo carrying capacity would be incorrect, as the weight of each belted seating position is included in that calculation. This could lead to overloading of the motorhome and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: The affected motorhome has not been delivered to a customer. Forest River will instruct the dealer to remove one of the seat belts before the motorhome is delivered.
- Brakes#2025425
1 units affected
Issue: On one motorhome, brake fluid may be present in the brake pressure switch and wire harness. As a result, the brake switch could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can cause wiring to overheat and create the risk of a fire, even while the motorhome is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises that you should park your motorhome outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their motorhome to a General Motors dealership to replace the brake pressure switch and wire harness.
