    2,928 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, a nut in the steering gear assembly may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the nut could loosen and separate. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering gear assembly.

  • Powertrain#2026260

    41 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, a component in the steering column may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears correctly when the shifter is moved. As a result, the gear shifter could feel like it is in one gear when the transmission is actually in another. This could cause sudden and unexpected vehicle movements. Note: This recall also affects certain cutaway chassis vehicles. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, General Motors advises that you visually verify the gear selection in the instrument cluster when selecting a gear and always use the parking brake when parking until the recall repairs have been completed. General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the transmission control on the steering column.

  • Tires#2026104

    65 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, the sidewall of the tire(s) may have been damaged during manufacturing. As a result, the sidewall could fail and cause a sudden loss of air pressure. Note: This recall only affects certain cutaway chassis vehicles equipped with General Grabber HTS LT225/75R16E or Bridgestone V-Steel RIB R265 LT245/75R16E tires. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the affected tire(s).
