Certain buses fail to conform to the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 217 – Bus Window Retention, Release and Emergency Exits. These buses contain an emergency exit located on the roof that is too far forward in the passenger compartment to meet the requirements of subsection 7 of CMVSS 217. Correction: Dealers will install a new additional emergency exit in the roof of the bus in the rear of the passenger compartment.
