  • Brakes#2025210

    311 units affected

    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the brake line seals on the antilock braking system (ABS) pump may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, air could enter the brake system and cause the rear brake pedal not to work properly. If this happens, there could be reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, CFMOTO recommends that you should not use your motorcycle until the recall repairs are completed. CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the rear brake line washer and bolt.

  • Steering#2024046

    64 units affected

    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the strap securing an electronic module could fail. As a result, the module could become loose and interfere with the steering. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, secure the electronic module with additional fasteners. CFMOTO advises not to use your motorcycle until the recall repairs are completed.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

  • STRUCTURE#24V108000

    CFMOTO POWERSPORTS, INC. (CFMOTO) is recalling certain 2023 450SS motorcycles. The telematics box (T-box) may fall onto the front steering forks, which can cause a loss of steering control.

    Risk: A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the T-Box holder, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact CFMOTO customer service at 1-763-398-2690. CFMOTO's number for this recall is SAF-2024-01.
