Transport Canada recalls

02
  • Steering#2016163

    4,482 units affected

On certain vehicles, steering coupler splines may become damaged at the rack and pinion. This could potentially result in complete loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs. Important Note: Repair parts will be available at the end of June 2016. Owners should avoid driving their vehicle until repairs can be completed. In the interim, dealers can perform an inspection to allow use under limited conditions.

  • Other#2012361

    10,800 units affected

If some side-by-side ATVs are operated in deep water (over 30 cm) containing an important quantity of floating grass, hay or leaves, this debris may accumulate near the exhaust system and potentially cause a fire resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: A debris cleaning procedure will be provided to owners and dealers will install a front grille kit upon request.
