    Issue: On certain vehicles, the support for the drive belt's lower idler could break. If this happens, the drive belt could fail and cause a loss of power to the rear wheel. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the rear wheel could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the support for the drive belt's lower idler.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL#26V575000

    Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (BRP) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Can-Am Origin, Can-Am Pulse, 2025-2027 Can-Am Canyon, 2024-2027 Can-Am Spyder RT, and Can-Am Spyder F3 motorcycles equipped with a touchscreen instrument cluster. The instrument cluster may reset, freeze, or go blank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Control and Displays," and FMVSS number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems."

    Risk: An inoperative instrument cluster will fail to display critical safety information, such as vehicle speed and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: The instrument cluster software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 12, 2026. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 22, 2026. The manufacturers number for this recall is 2027-2 & 2026-3.

  • POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:CHAIN/BELT:SPROKETS/PULLEYS#25V448000

    Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (BRP) is recalling certain 2025 Can-Am Canyon motorcycles. On these motorcycles, the drive belt lower idler support will fail and possibly cause a belt failure.

    Risk: Belt failure can result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will install a new drive belt lower Idler support, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222. The manufacturer number for this recall is Bulletin 2025-4.
