Issue: On certain RV trailers, the recreational vehicle specification nameplate located in the kitchen cabinet may list incorrect tire pressure information. The nameplate incorrectly lists the recommended tire pressure as 125 psi, when it should instead list the tire pressure as 83 psi. This information could lead you to overinflate the tires and cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Brinkley RV will notify owners by email. Brinkley RV will mail a corrected recreational vehicle specification nameplate to each owner. If you would like help to install the nameplate, you can contact a Brinkley RV dealer to have it installed free of charge.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the rear patio of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Brinkley RV advises that you should check that the receiver for the step bracket is properly secured until the recall repairs have been completed. Brinkley RV will notify owners by email and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the receiver for the removable step.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the bolts for the pin box may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the bolts could loosen, and the pin box could detach from the tow vehicle. Note: This recall only affects certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with a Curt Helux pin box. Safety Risk: A trailer that separates from the tow vehicle could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Brinkley RV will notify owners by email and advise you to contact a mobile technician or dealership to tighten the pin box bolts. Brinkley RV Customer Care will assist with locating a technician and/or scheduling the repair.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the wiring for the 12 V system may not have proper circuit protection. Additionally, the 12 V refrigerator power wire may be too small. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Brinkley RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the 12 V wiring to the breakers. The dealer will also replace the 12 V refrigerator wire, as necessary.
