Issue: On certain RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the rear patio of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Brinkley RV advises that you should check that the receiver for the step bracket is properly secured until the recall repairs have been completed. Brinkley RV will notify owners by email and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the receiver for the removable step.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the solar charge controller could fail. If this happens, the controller could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: A controller that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Brinkley RV will notify owners in writing. As an interim repair, a dealer will disconnect the solar charge controller. Once the final repair is available, Brinkley will notify you in writing and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the solar charge controller.

Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Brinkley RV advises not to use the solar power system until the recall repairs are completed. Brinkley RV will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to correct the wiring for the solar panels.
