Issue: On vehicles equipped with an aftermarket BraunAbility Turny Evo seat, the optional anchors for attaching a child or booster seat may not have been welded correctly. As a result, the lower universal anchorage system (UAS) for securing a child seat could break or detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A child or booster seat that is not properly secured could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: BraunAbility will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership for an inspection of the child restraint anchors on the Turny Evo seat. If the inspection finds insufficient welds, the child restraint anchors will be replaced.
