On certain vans converted to lowered floor mobility vehicles by The Braun Corporation, during conversion the chassis is raised and floor lowered to accommodate wheelchair accessibility features. Due to this modification, the fuel filler pipe come closer to the rear left tires and, under certain driving conditions, the tires may contact the fuel pipe. Over time this may damage the tires and result in a tire failure causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a fuel fill restraint strap.
