Safety Risk: A throttle that sticks in the open position could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealer to replace the accelerator pedal. To reduce the safety risk, the company recommends that you should avoid driving your UTV until the recall repairs have been completed.

If this happens while the clutch is still rotating, the cords can cut through the inner clutch cover and damage the fuel line. This could cause a fuel leak. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a bracket to protect the fuel line from damage when a drive belt breaks.
