Issue: On certain motorcycles, the material that the tire pressure, compliance and/or noise emission labels are printed on may be incorrect. As a result, the labels could detach from the frame. If this happens, and the owner’s manual isn’t consulted, the correct tire pressure information may not be known. This could lead to the tires being inflated incorrectly and cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the labels.

This could lead to improper maintenance of the brake system, like using the wrong type of brake fluid. Safety Risk: Improper maintenance of the brake system could lead to brake problems and create the risk of a crash. 673 units affected

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the stop lamp will flash during emergency braking. Canadian regulations require the stop lamp to stay on constantly while braking.
