Issue: On certain scooters, the horn mounting screw could loosen and the horn could detach from the frame. If this happens, the horn could interfere with steering and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the horn mounting screw.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
01- ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:HORN#22V672000
BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2022 CE 04 motorcycles. The horn may be insufficiently attached, allowing it to loosen or partially detach from the motorcycle frame.
Risk: A loose or partially detached horn can interfere with motorcycle steering and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will remove and reinstall the horn, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 4, 2022. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
