06- Label#2026278
1,173 units affected
Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE / NON-APPLICABLE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Bentley has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
- Fuel System#2023470
309 units affected
Issue: Under certain conditions, the fuel supply module connectors and wiring could overheat. If this happens, the fuel supply module could melt and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel supply module flange and wiring.
- Visual System#2022564
211 units affected
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the central display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the infotainment unit software.
- Seats And Restraints#2022135
117 units affected
Issue: On certain vehicles, the second-row seats may not be installed correctly on the seat rails. As a result, the seats may not lock in place and could move in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat that moves in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and ensure that the second-row seats are installed correctly. To reduce the safety risk, Bentley recommends that you should not use the second-row seats until the recall inspection has been completed.
- Airbag#2021762
225 units affected
Issue: On certain vehicles, the owner's manual doesn't properly describe how the passenger-front airbag works when the "Passenger Airbag On" light is on. This could cause you to misunderstand how the passenger airbag works. Safety Risk: Incorrect information about how the airbag system works could cause confusion, and create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Bentley will send each owner a sticker to update the owner's manual with the correct description for how the passenger airbag works. They will also provide you with instructions for where to put it. If you would like help installing the label, a Bentley dealer will install it for you.
- Brakes#2021518
4 units affected
Issue: On a small number of vehicles, a software problem in the chassis control module could cause the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to not work correctly in certain driving situations. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a V8 engine. Safety Risk: A stability control system that does not work properly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the chassis control module.
