Issue: The carrying handle may detach from the seat. Safety Risk: If the handle detaches while carrying an infant, there could be a risk of injury. Corrective Action: The company will mail a notice to all registered owners. A new attachment system will be installed to fix the handle. Owners can get the seat repaired at one of the three Bébérama locations. <a href=https://tc.canada.ca/en/road-transportation/defects-recalls-vehicles-tires-child-car-seats/bebecar-easymaxi-xl-carrying-handle-detachment>Click here for more information. </a> Note: If the carrying handle is loose, it should not be used to carry the seat. However, the seat can still be safely used if it is installed in a vehicle or on a stroller.
