Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the primary (drive) clutch could fail. If this happens, pieces of the clutch could separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Clutch parts that separate from the snowmobile could hit a person and create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Arctic Cat recommends that you should not use your snowmobile until the recall repairs are completed. Arctic Cat will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to install additional shielding around the primary clutch and the toe guard.

Issue: On certain snowmobiles, when the brush guard/bumper is installed, it partially blocks the front side reflectors. Canadian regulations require snowmobiles to have visible side reflectors. Safety Risk: A reflector that is blocked could make the snowmobile less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Arctic Cat will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to install a new front side reflector. To reduce the safety risk, Arctic Cat recommends that you should not drive your snowmobile until this recall is completed.
