Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the primary (drive) clutch could fail. If this happens, pieces of the clutch could separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Clutch parts that separate from the snowmobile could hit a person and create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Arctic Cat recommends that you should not use your snowmobile until the recall repairs are completed. Arctic Cat will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to install additional shielding around the primary clutch and the toe guard.

Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the snap ring that attaches the fuel dampener to the fuel rail could come loose and fall out. If this happens, fuel could leak from the fuel rail. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to replace the snap ring that attaches the fuel dampener to the fuel rail. To reduce the safety risk, Textron advises not to use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.

  • Brakes#2020627

    21 units affected

Issue: On certain snowmobiles, an incorrect seal in the brake master cylinder could cause a brake fluid leak. A fluid leak can cause reduced braking or a loss of brakes. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Arctic Cat will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to inspect the date code on the brake master cylinder. If it is within the identified date range, the master cylinder will be replaced.
