  • Brakes#2020191

    1,017 units affected

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the front brake pads could separate. This would cause reduced front braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the front brake pads.

  • Brakes#2018049

    484 units affected

On certain motorcycles, a crack within the polyphenilene sulphide (PPS) piston of the front brake master cylinder could occur. This could result in the master cylinder to not be able to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure, which could lead to a loss of braking capability of the front brake, increasing stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the PPS piston with one made from aluminum.
